PAPO’s Emperor Penguin is an amazing bird! It not only survives in the Antarctic winter, it’s the biggest of all penguins and one of the largest birds in the world. Female penguins lay one egg each year, and their male mates keep the eggs warm by holding them off the snow and ice in a special pouch between their feet. It’s an amazing achievement, because it can take more than two months for the eggs to hatch!
