Genius Connection is a puzzle game that challenges you to outsmart your opponent while thinking fast. Enjoy endless random dice challenges or explore the 576 card-based puzzles ranging from easy to difficult. Are you on the “right track”? Like the Genius Square and Genius Star games, you can play Genius Connections as a 1-player solo puzzle, or as a 2-player game racing another player to solve the puzzle first!
For a competitive game, each player receives a Genius Connections game board – 2 game boards and 2 sets of playing pieces are included. For a random-difficulty game, the 2 dice are rolled and they determine where the players will position the start and finish points for their pathways. Then it’s a race to be the first to connect the start and finish with a continuous pathway – and then flip all the remaining pieces to the blank sides and use them to completely and perfectly fill the rest of the game board. Not so easy, and there is only 1 correct pathway for each challenge!
The game also includes 4 “Challenge Level” cards: Starter, Junior, Master and Expert. The Challenge Level cards allow the players to choose how difficult they want the game to be. When the dice are rolled, instead of using the numbers to position their start and finish points, the players match the numbers on the dice to corresponding numbers on a grid on the Challenge Level cards. That gives start and finish points that guarantee that game will be the chosen level of difficulty. It’s fantastic for younger and beginning players!
