Ready… Set… Go !! Two of these three speedy little wooden race cars are The Toy Factory version of smart cars, except our toy-makers have dubbed them “Smartie” cars. That’s because the painted wooden buttons that are the driver’s “helmets” look like candy-coated chocolate Smarties !

Of course, the buttons are painted with non-toxic water-based paint and permanently attached to the cars, the cars are natural pine and the wheels are natural maple, with no varnish or chemical oils or finishes, so if a child puts them in his or her mouth, they’re completely safe.

Natural pine with maple wheels. Vegetable or canola oil will turn the pine golden yellow, and the wheels dark brown. Children can apply it with a little paintbrush – a non-toxic and fun “paint job” !

 Safe for Infants (Age 0+) – Not a choking hazard.
